Amand Weaver has been in the film industry for over 35 years and has worked in front and behind the camera in almost all departments. With a background in martial arts he started working as a stunt performer in 1995 on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and went on from there to become a stunt double and performer in a variety of tv series and films. After a stint behind the camera, working as an assistant director, Amand came back to stunts with a goal of in depth study of the fundamentals of stunt work. He is now a stunt rigger and stunt coordinator and shares his knowledge with the students at New Zealand Stunt School.
